I’m so excited to attend but what should I bring?
We are SO EXCITED to have you at our next event - whether you’re attending an Emmaus weekend, Face to Face Encounter or Chrysalis Flight - we know you’ll have a wonderful time. Here are some ‘must haves’, ‘maybes’ and ‘leave at home’ suggestions.
Must Haves
Bible - any version you’re most comfortable with
Clothes for Each Day - don’t forget to pack a sweater or long pants. Even if your event is in the summer, sometimes indoor spaces can be cold. OR, pack a few layering options, in case the rooms are too warm!
Toiletries - if you’re attending an Emmaus weekend or Chrysalis flight, you’ll want overnight items like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towel, washcloth, deodorant, toothbrush & toothpaste
Medications - in a prescription bottle in a plastic bag with your name
Pillow, sheets (or a sleeping bag) and a blanket . . . or two - if you’re spending the night, we’ll provide the mattress; you provide the rest
Optional
Money - there will be an opportunity for purchases; but not required
Earplugs
Notebook - we’ll provide but you may want to do some personal journaling
Shower Shoes
Small Flashlight
Don’t Bring
Electronics - We will ask that cell phones and watches be put away (or given to your sponsor) at the beginning of your weekend. We also ask that you don’t bring any other electronics like iPads, computers, etc.
